One of Ontario's best fisheries, Pipestone, and its neighboring 12 lakes boast an incredible variety of northern species. Head out in 17-foot Lund Outfitter guide boats in search of walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, muskie, largemouth bass, and lake trout. The main lodge is a beautiful post and beam style lodge, with scenic dining room, gift store, lounge and gaming area.

FISHING PROGRAM

Two anglers will be paired in a 17 foot Lund boat with 50hp four-stroke motors and an experienced guide. Whether you are a fly fishing expert or like to cast spinning gear, Pipestone and the surrounding 12 other lakes offer smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie and occasional lake trout. This area is one of the premier smallmouth destinations in North America, yet pike over 20 pounds and walleye over 26 inches are caught regularly.

EXTRA DAY RATE

DEPOSIT AMOUNT

$750 per person. May be paid with personal check, certified check, money order or credit card. Final payments are typically due 60 days prior to departure.

International Falls, Minnesota is located on the Minnesota-Ontario border, and is served by Northwest Airlines commuter services out of Minneapolis. Note: airfares are subject to change and confirmed only at time of booking. Airline ticketing, refund, change and baggage restrictions may apply.

GETTING THERE

You fly to International Falls, Minnesota, where you will cross the border into Fort Frances, Canada, where the floatplane or transfer service embarks to Pipestone Lake.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Happy Landing Lodge offers several cabin styles, accommodating two to ten anglers. Each cabin has its own bathroom, as well as a lounge/sitting area and outside deck. The beautiful post-and-beam style lodge has a scenic dining room, gaming area and comfortable lounge area.

MEALS

Hearty breakfasts and dinners are served in the main dining room. A traditional fresh fish shore lunch will be prepared each day.

SAMPLE OUTLINE ITINERARY

• Arrival: Fly to International Falls, MN. Depending on flight schedule, hotel overnight may be required.
• Day 1: Transfer to Fort Frances then take a floatplane flight to lodge. Orientation. Fishing.
• Fishing Days: Full days fishing with your guide on Pipestone and its neighboring lakes. Overnight at lodge.
• Departure day: Return to International Falls for flight back to home city.

Longer stays and custom packages are available on request.

ENTRY

A valid passport required for U.S. citizens. Passengers assume all responsibility for carrying proper documentation.

HEALTH

Daytime temperatures typically range from 50 to 80 degrees.

TRIP INSURANCE

We recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover any losses should you have to cancel to due to unforeseen illness or other emergency. Certain restrictions do apply. Premium rates are typically about $65 per $1,000 of coverage, and usually include some benefits for lost baggage, trip interruption, and emergency evacuation.
