Toccoa River Fly Fishing

If your thinking about heading up to the Toccoa River for some much need fly fishing zen you better wait a day or two.

With the recent rains the Toccoa River tailwater and the upper Toccoa River are currently blown out. Wednesday rains brought upwards of two inches or more of rain in the North Georgia area.

The farther down the river you go the longer it will take for the rivers sediments to settle out. The Horseshoe Bend access point could take two or more days to become fishable.
