Lake Nottely Fishing Guide

Bass fishing on Lake Nottely is a popular choice for anglers wanting to catch a variety of black bass species.  Lake Nottely is located in the Chattahoochee National Forest of Georgia.  Nottely Lake encompasses 4,180 acres and 108 miles of shoreline.  Nottely Lake has good numbers of striped bass, hybrid bass, spotted bass, largemouth bass, as well as a few smallmouth bass.

Many of our clients book trips for the opportunity to hook into a big striped bass.  Nottely Lake routinely yields catches of striped bass weighing well over 20 pounds.  Every year 40 plus pound striped bass are landed on Lake Nottely.  Four to eight pound hybrid bass comprise a lot of our catches when we’re chasing down stripers as well.  The hybrid bass school up, chasing the same schools of blue-back herring that the striped bass feed upon, and provides our clients with a lot of action.  If you’ve always wanted to hook into a big striper Lake Nottely is a great place to achieve this.

Bass fishing for spotted bass and largemouth bass on Lake Nottely offers bass anglers a very enjoyable day out on the lake.  The overall wealth of structure and cover Lake Nottely has as far as bass habitat, allows bass anglers the opportunity to either power fish with crankbaits and spinnerbaits around laydowns and brushpiles or slow down their fishing with plastics on points, creek channels, and humps.  Reel Job Fishing guides spend a lot of time on Lake Nottely throughout the year due to its close proximity of our base of operations.  Lake Nottely’s variety of game fish allows our bass clients many fishing options as far as what species they want to target during their guided bass fishing trip.  Because of this, it’s a great lake for just about any bass fisherman.
