Eric Welch

Bass Guide

The first time I fished with Eric was during a local bass tournament.  That day we took 3rd place.  Since then there’s been a whole lot more 1st and 2nd place finishes.  What can I say?  The man really knows his bass fishing.  Eric has an uncanny ability to read what’s below the surface, and because of this his baits spend most of their time in the hot spots.  If you give Eric a chance I’m confident he’ll open a whole new dimension to your bass fishing.  Did I mention he has more gear and tackle than most tournament-trail bass fisherman? Capt. Kent Klewein

welch.jpgGuide Profile:

My name is Eric Welch and I’ve been fishing the surrounding lakes of North Georgia for the past 15 years.  I view everyday on the lake as a new adventure.  This is why I like guiding, taking new people out seeing if we can find and catch the fish.  My favorite species of bass is the smallmouth because their always unpredictable.  I firmly believe in making memories today and leaving fish for tomorrow.   The main thing is to practice (CPR) catch, photo, and release.
