The first time I fished with Eric was during a local bass tournament. That day we took 3rd place. Since then there’s been a whole lot more 1st and 2nd place finishes. What can I say? The man really knows his bass fishing. Eric has an uncanny ability to read what’s below the surface, and because of this his baits spend most of their time in the hot spots. Guide Profile:

Eric Welch has been fishing southern appalachian mountain lakes for twenty years. His uncle fished competitively for B.A.S.S, Redman Series and Hunger Fisherman tournaments for fifteen years and has mentored Eric extensively on everything bass fishing. Eric writes area lake fishing reports for Georgia Outdoor News Magazine (GON) and he's also a member of B.A.S.S., FLW Outdoors, BassBoatCentral.com, Fastbass.com, Professional Anglers Association (PAA), Chattanooga Fishing Fourm, Chattanooga Bass Association and X-trem Christian Outdoors.

Eric Welch also volunteers annually for the North Georgia Kids Tournament. In his spare time you'll find Eric dominating bass tournaments on our home lakes, and creating new innovative lures specilized for mountain lake fishing. Eric's love for guiding professionally and his vast knowledge of the black bass makes him one of the most experienced bass guides in GA, NC and TN.
