I was introduced to Ben while visiting my twin sister in Jackson Hole, WY a few years back. I had the honor of Ben guiding me down the Green River for two days. I’ll never forget the time Ben told me, “don’t move and be quiet, we’re going to park the boat in an eddy and wait for the toad rainbows to start rising.” Sure enough, 15 minutes later like clockwork I witnessed some giant noses sipping the surface. I had my shot, but I set the hook too early and blew the hole out. Next time I’ll give the rod to Ben. Last year Ben guided his client to victory for the coveted Jackson Hole One Fly contest. Guide Profile:
Ben has a passion for float fishing. Having grown up in Colorado, he spent his youth fishing the many famous trout streams of that state. He moved to Jackson Hole from Colorado in 2002, on a mission to becoming a guide. He has been exploring the Snake River and surrounding waters ever since.
Ben loves teaching, his patience and youthful energy have won him a number of loyal clients over the years. He will make an adventure out of any day on the river, whether you are a seasoned angler looking to win the big fish or a beginner, hoping to land your first fish!
