Established in 2001, Reel Job Fishing (RJF) was created for the sole purpose of providing our clients with one of the best guide services available in the industry.  As a leading Georgia fly fishing outfitter, our mission statement is:  Guiding at the professional level. What does this mean?  RJF fly fishing guides are recognized as true professionals in the industry.  We use hands-on instruction so our clients come off the water more competent anglers whether they’re beginners or veterans.  As your fishing outfitter, we want you to catch fish, but we feel just as strong about making sure you know why and how you caught them. 

Over the years, we’ve often noticed clients that have not been taught the basic fundamentals on their past guided fishing trips.  They’ve come from all over the country having fished many world class rivers.  We find this discouraging and take pride in making sure our client’s are taught the fundamentals while challenging them with more advanced techniques.  We accomplish this by using a guiding style that’s very communicative.  We want our clients to know what’s going through our heads during any given situation on the water.  That way our client’s can understand why they're using a specific fly pattern or casting to a fish at a particular angle.  If we notice our clients performing a task the wrong way, we use positive feedback to correct the problem.  For we feel, as professional guides and your complete fly fishing outfitter, it’s our duty to do so.

We concentrate on our home waters.  You won't find us traveling long distances to fish other watersheds.  We'd rather be the most competent anglers in the North Georgia area; rather than offering the most guiding destinations.  We respect our competitors home waters and would rather refer them if our clients choose to fish a river or lake not in our area.
