Toccoa River Trophy Bow

Posted By on May 16, 2011

Yesterday, client Brad Weitz landed this beautiful 25 inch male rainbow on the Toccoa River. He was a snake and a heck of a fish to land on the river. Ryan Dunne and I had a great time guiding the Weitz family (Brad, Taylor, and Travis). We look forward to fishing with them again soon. We had a great day on the water considering the bug hatch was really slow and we had to deal with a big algae bloom. We hope the TVA starts releasing from the bottom of the lake soon.

I’ve been absent from my blog for a while everyone. Fact is, I’ve been guiding a ton and I’ve got twelve more days until I have another day off. So please bare with us if we aren’t able to post quite as frequently as normal. We’ll do our best to get back on the bandwagon very soon.

Keep it Reel,

  1. WOW! Guess the Toccoa is doing pretty good. That is a heck of a fish. Look at the mouth on that thing!
