Toccoa River Float Trip – RJF
Posted By Kent Klewein on June 26, 2010
Just finished up a sweet float today with clients Drew & Heath Hood. We got to sight fish to some giants today and landed a solid 25-26″ rainbow on a dry fly which was really cool. The two trophies we landed put up long battles, but good angling on 6X tippet brought them to the net.
Sulphurs came off pretty good today and boat traffic was pretty low for a change. It’s amazing what you can catch when you don’t have multiple boats wearing out the water in front of you. The TVA should start generating heavy for the lake draw down soon, so if you want to get in on this awesome fishing you need to call and book very soon. Otherwise you may not be floating until this fall.

Thanks Kent for an awesome day on the water. This Trip really opened my eyes to alot of great fishing techniques, and that i totally need to rethink my fly box contents. IF you are thinking of doing a trip with Kent, do yourself a favor and give him a call.
Drew,
I’m really happy you had a good time, caught some giants, and furthered your fly fishing skills. I appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback on the blog. I look forward to fishing with you down the road soon. I’ll keep you posted on the fishing.

Kent had a great time on the river Friday. Learned a ton of technique that will be priceless. Had a ball putting big fish on the fly never knew fish that big would take flys that small. Cant wait to plan another trip. Guys if you are wondering if Kent is the guide for you the answer is yes!!!!!!!
Those are some nice looking Bow shots!
Great JOB guys…fantastic Trout!!!
