North Georgia Bass Guide
Posted By Kent Klewein on November 19, 2010
Reel Job Fishing guide, Eric Welch continues to put bass in the boat. The man is a bass guru and we’re super proud to have him on our guide staff. If you’re going to be visiting the North Georgia mountains this fall or winter and want to go on a guided bass fishing trip on the lake or guided fly fishing trip for trout please give us a call. Reserve a cabin rental with Escape to Blue Ridge and we’ll take care of your guided fishing needs. Together we’re one heck of a team.
Below are a few photos from Eric’s lake trip today.
A few words from guide Eric Welch about the fishing today.
We fished Parksville Lake today until 2:00 pm and we caught 55 bass. The water temperature is between 57- 58 degrees and the fish are scattered, but when you find them you can catch a lot of bass. We caught sixteen fish off of just one point today, and also found a pocket that we caught another thirteen. Lake bass fishing is only going to get better, and December is a great month for Parksville Lake. Best of all it’s a very short drive from Blue Ridge, GA. We’re also really excited about the water temperatures getting down around 52 degrees. This is when the float n’ fly will start working, and it’s a great way for novice anglers and kids to catch lots of bass.
Keep it Reel,
