Bass Fishing Lake Hiawassee

Posted By on December 7, 2010

Fished Hiawassee lake last friday, the water temp is 56 to 57 degrees. We caught 30 fish with 4 of them coming on the float n fly. If you have never tryed this, book a trip now. The colder the weather the better it works. There is nothing like a 3 to 4 pound smallmouth or spotted bass  on a 8′ to 9’6 float n fly rod with a 12 to 15 foot leader.

  1. This is such an amazing entry and I love to read more of it so that I will be able to look over and have it as an inspiration for further articles to write about when it comes to updates on fly fishing and it’s pros and cons too. I do hope you will get to visit our official website and let us know what you think about it. Here is the link
