Carters Lake Float n Fly

Posted By on December 9, 2010

Left the house this morning and the temp was 18 degrees, I stoped at the store to put  gas in the boat and people was looking at me like I was stupid. Yes I am, stupidly insane for big fish.  Just like I said  two weeks ago, let it get cold and watch the post for some big fish.

We caught 35 fish today with most of the fish coming on float n fly. There was some fish taken on shakey head, and we had some pull downs but no takers. The water temp was 54 to 55 degrees, with the cold nights were having this week the fishing is only going to get better. Book a FnF trip now.

With the cold weather and water temps cooling, the fish will start to bunch up. Look at the photo below, this is what you want to see when dropshotting.
