Klewein’s, Baitfish Pattern

Posted By on January 28, 2009

I designed this pattern primarily for bass fishing on Lake Blue Ridge, but it will catch anything that eats forage fish.  Yes, that means big trout as well.  The pattern is articulated which gives it great action in the water, and I truly feel fish have a harder time spitting a fly that’s articulated.  I also added a glass rattle in the Flexi-Cord Body to simulate the sound an injured baitfish gives off.  As always, its tied on a razor sharp hook.  I learned a long time ago if your going to fish for the big boys, you better be packing the right equipment.  Let me know what you guys think of this pattern.
