Toccoa River Trout Fishing
Posted By Kent Klewein on May 10, 2010
I’ve been floating the Toccoa River quite a bit lately and we’ve been catching some really nice fish. Sulphurs are starting to come off pretty good and we’re catching some fish on dries. Nymphing however is still producing very well. I’ll be guiding on the river quite a bit this week and we’ll see if I can get some photos of our catches for the blog.
Lately my clients have been wanting to use their own cameras so I have to wait on them to email them to me. Just about all the trout we’re catching are looking fat and healthy. They’re really putting on some weight right now feeding heavily on aquatic insects.
Generation schedules have improved lately and has allowed us to get on the river to fish more often lately. Quick note, the TVA has started to move trailers and equipment up by the dam and has the put-in up their closed down.
We’ll be extending the float trip special for $325 until the end of May. Take advantage of the discount and give me a call for your booking. I’m ready to put you on fish like this one to the right.
Available Dates right now for the $325 Float Special:
May 17-20, 24-25, 31st
