Reel Job Fishing Guide Trips
Posted By Kent Klewein on October 15, 2010
Well I’ve spent the last four days guiding at Noontootla Creek Farms. I’ve got one more trip on Saturday and then I’ll have a day off to fix my horrible water pressure at the cabin. My wife is about to lose it with all that hair, and It really sucks not looking forward to showers.
Water levels are super low right now, making the fishing extremely challenging at times. To be a guide on the water right now with the wrong attitude and amateur experience would make for an ugly day on the water. I’ve been very lucky to have some wonderful clients this week who understand the fishing conditions we’re being dealt at the moment. They’ve fished hard and because of that they’ve been rewarded with some really nice fish. When the fishing get’s tough you better get fishing hard or your going to come up empty handed. Prime example, client Paul Messer gave 100% and landed this solid 23″ rainbow at the end of the day.
In the meantime check out some decent photos I snapped on the water and pray for some significant rain. I tell it like it is folks, like it or not. You’ll always get a accurate report from me. For now, I’ll settle for some cold water temperatures. So if you’re looking at setting up a trout or bass fishing trip please give us a call. We’ll provide you with a great guide and awesome time on the water.

Nice work dude! The photos are beautiful.
I can’t remember the last day it rained down here… nice pics kent.
Kent,
I guide at Brigadoon Lodge on the Soquee and we are experiencing the same conditions. Low and clear water really steps up the game even if you are fishing trophy managed waters. Fish are wary and on high alert so stay stealty my friend!
Thanks guys for checking the blog out. Louis it ain’t your skills but it’s not bad for me
James,
Sorry to hear you in the same boat as us. Thanks for chiming in. Yes, stealth is super important right now.
Kent
Conditions are just about the same everywhere. Had the pleasure of fishing some wild water on Saturday and it was tough, but it was rewarding. Conditions like these really “prove” what kind of fly fishing game you got.
Hello everyone i live in chickamauga and was wondering where the best fly fishing places are?
Great pics Kent!!!! To bad you can’t head back up to the Trashy Treasure with us this weekend!!!
