Finally, I can get my hands on some super stealthy clear floating fly line for my stillwater and spring creek fishing. I’ve been waiting for a fly line company to produce a clear floating fly line for years now. I had the opportunity to cast the Airflo Ridge Clear floating fly line the other day on the river and I really liked it. But what I’m really looking forward to, is casting dry flies to big educated trout with it. Now all I need to do is find an invisible cloak. I believe The Fish Hawk and Cohutta Fishing Co. are carrying these lines if you’re interested in trying them out. It’s not a line that’s suited for all fly fishing aplications but it does offer some advantages other fly lines can’t come close to replicating, and that’s perfectly fine with me. If you’re going to go stealth you might as well go all the way, right?
