Noontootla Creek Farms – September

Posted By on September 9, 2010

Just got back from a half-day trip with client Paul Messer at Noontootla Creek Farms. The morning it was on and we landed some very nice fish. Check out this mega brown trout we took on a dry fly early this morning.

Reel Job Fishing - Big Brown on dry fly at Noontootla Creek Farms

Water levels are extremely low right now due to the lack of rain lately. I’m really hoping we get some rain soon.  It will really due wonders for the stream. Water temperatures are starting to drop, but it looks like it will be another week or so before we’re in the clear.

If your looking at booking a trip at Noontootla Creek Farms give us a call today and we’ll be happy to reserve your date, and put you on quality trout like this one above. Just don’t wait until the last minute. With the Toccoa River out of the picture for now, NCF is going to be the top fishing destination for guided fly fishing trips in North Georgia.

Keep it Reel,

  1. WOW, now that is freak nasty!

  2. It was a killer looking brown for sure. The head on the thing was huge with a really long hook jaw. I was really stoked for my client. We’d been after one of those for him for a while. Persistence :)

  3. That’s a nice looking fish.
