Noontootla Creek Farms Report
Posted By Kent Klewein on April 25, 2010
Well, my trip just got cancelled this morning due to the heavy rains we received yesterday and last night. NCF is too high to wade or fish with any success. Looks like my client will be rescheduling this coming June. Prior to today though, Noontootla Creek has been fishing great. A recent trip of ours hooked into fifteen fish in a half day over there, and yielded a very nice brown trout. RJF guide, Jared Darnell did a great job of putting our clients on the big trout.
Water levels and temperatures are good and the fishing will only be getting better as we move into summer. Don’t make the mistake of thinking the summer will bring slower fishing at NCF. It actually will get much better and you’ll be doing yourself a big favor by booking your trip during this time. It is true on other streams and on the tailwater when we move into July we start seeing the fishing slow down some, but this isn’t the case at NCF. I usually encourage my clients from July through September to book at NCF instead of the tailwater. If you like fishing dries this is the time and place to do it.
Hope all is well and we hope this information is helpful to our fellow fly fishermen. For more information and rates for our guide trips at NCF please visit our website below.

Recently I was on facebook and discovered your film site. I must admit, your film site is so easy to use. I will bookmark this right now
Thanks man, we really have a good time filming on the water. We look forward to showcasing our latest footage and hope everyone enjoys.
