Noontootla Creek Farms

Posted By on November 19, 2010

Had a great day guiding Paul Messer at Noontootla Creek Farms yesterday. Below are a couple photos from the trip. There’s nothing like getting a giant rainbow like this one, to come up and sip a dry off the surface. It was really cool.

  1. Wow. What a pretty fish! Did you get a tape on him? What dry did he take? Was he rising when he took it? Can I ask more questions? ( probably. :) )

  2. Owl,

I can’t give everything away man…, ha. We saw the fish rising in a foam line on the far bank before we caught this beauty. It took a nymph floated on the surface behind a small caddis. No, we did not tape the fish. We snapped a few photos and released her unharmed. I’m guessing it was in the 22″+ class.

    Thanks for your comment.
