NCF Fishing on FIRE!

Posted By on June 5, 2009

Fished with Tom & Besty Schifanella at Noontootla Creek Farms and it was on FIRE!  Pretty much every hole we fished today we hooked into a 20 inch fish or better.  I have to give my clients credit.  They did a fabulous job of making good presentations and bringing the trout to the net.  I do have to give myself a little credit and say there were a few extreme net man moments :) .  Anyway, I’m fishing with them again tomorrow and hope to continue the hot streak.  Just hoping this rain doesn’t blow out the river too much.  Otherwise our hot rig may be compromised.

  1. Kent,

Many thanks for the two wonderful days on NCF! Noontootla Creek is one of the most beautiful streams we have ever fished and the fact that it is in Georgia makes this a truly special place. Your expert knowledge of the creek was invaluable and your patient instruction helped us both hone our fly fishing skills. The one thing we both have to remember is KEEP THE ROD TIP UP! :-) Your are a fantastic guide and we really appreciate all your efforts in making our trip a special one. I promise to send fish pictures AND the information on Banff when we get back to Florida. Have a great trip and may the fish be with you! Tom & Betsy
