Leaving Town for New York

Posted By on December 7, 2010

Hello Everyone,

I’ll be heading out of town with Louis Cahill and Murphy Kane for a week of Great Lake steelhead and brown trout fishing this coming Thursday. I just spent the last two days tying, organizing my fly boxes, and painting beads for the trip. Now I just have to pack up my gear and hit the road. Looks like we’ll be dealing with a ton of snow and cold weather, but all I really care about is doing some fishing myself for a change.

Just a few egg patterns in case I need them.

A nice batch of freshly painted trout beads.

Some stonefly patterns I still have to find a place to store in my boxes :)

Not sure if I’ll have much service where we’ll be staying, so I’ll touch base with everyone when I get back on the 17th of December.

Keep it Reel,
