GA Trout Fishing August

Posted By on July 20, 2011

Despite many trout streams being closed in North Georgia, we’ve been blessed to still have cool enough water to keep Noontootla Creek Farms open and have the Toccoa River back in action with the recent releases of cold water discharges from the lower unit. Fishing has picked up on the Toccoa River and the dry fly fishing is improving. We very much look forward to begin booking steady float trips down the tailwater.

Noontootla Creek Farms is fishing better and better with dry flies. Numbers vary from day to day depending on the mood of the trout and the skill level of our anglers, but as you can see below we are landing some really nice trout.

Trout like this is what sets NCF apart from other Private Water.

  2. Bob,

Thanks for sending me those pics. Two were pretty blurry but I will post one of them tomorrow. Clad you’re bringing in the money. I look forward to setting up another day with you down the road soon. We may even have to check out the Toccoa River. Let’s touch base next week.
