Brilliant Bows at NCF

Posted By on April 13, 2010

For those of you who’ve not fished Noontootla Creek Farms yet, we highly encourage you to check it out. We’ve been guiding over there heavy lately, and our clients have had very memorable trips. It never gets old out smarting these brilliant colored trout, of which, most have grown up in the stream.

The trout have smartened up a bit since the season started due to an increase in fishing pressure. However, we’ve still been able to fool them regularly with the proper fly pattern choices and good presentations. The pure genetics in these fish are what makes these trout special. They’ve been passed down from generation to generation ever since the GA DNR halted stocking on Noontootla Creek back in the 1960s.

You won’t find washed out, football shaped stockers with tiny mouths here. That’s on all the other so called trophy trout water in the Southeast.  This stream is in a whole different class of excellence and uniqueness of its own, and there’s no other word to describe these trout except perfection. If your interested in fishing this killer trout stream give us a call. We live just 1 1/2 miles down the road and know this stream backwards and forwards.

  1. This is a very good article, thanks! It’s the first time I come to your website, just found it in Facebook. I’ve been browsing around and there’s a lot of top quality material. But I tried to put it to my RSS Reader and can’t. Perhaps it’s a only something going on with me… I’ll let you know if it continues!

  2. valentine, there is a good video on the stream somewhere in the blog and/or web site. It can also be found here
