About

Welcome to my Georgia Fly Fishing Blog.  My name is Capt. Kent Klewein and I’ve been an avid trout and bass fisherman since I was 10 years old.  I’ve been a full-time fly fishing guide since 2001 in the North Georgia area.  My business is located in Blue Ridge, Ga. Visitors can check out my website at www.gaflyguide.com to get more information regarding my guide services.

I created this blog to provide fly fishermen useful information about the sport and up to date fishing reports for my North Georgia fly fishing guide service. I’d also like to network other fishbums throughout the country.  My blog contains the following:

  • Innovative Fly Patterns
  • Monthly fly fishing photo essay from Louis Cahill
  • Monthly contributions from Capt. Joel Dickey & Capt. Bruce Chard on Saltwater Flats Fishing
  • Gear reviews on what technical equipment I prefer to use.
  • Guide trip photos and fishing reports
  • Fly Fishing News
  • Destination Travel & Hosted Trips & Fly Fishing Schools
  • Informative articles about fly fishing from all areas of the sport
  • Video fishing with my buddies

Keep it REEL,

Capt. Kent Klewein

  1. Oh hey, nice site you got over here. I have been looking for “landings” on the east to add to my site. While I know this is not a Landing, I think it would be a great addition to my site. If that is alright with you of course?

Anyways, if you are interested, just lemme know. I think I could hook up a fly guide section to my site.

Thanks for taking the time to come my way!
