Why we should Stock Browns

Posted By Kent Klewein on November 24, 2009

Floated the Toccoa River with Brad Wayne and Jared Darnell the other day.  Below is a nice nineteen-inch brown trout we landed during the float.  This is why we should stock more browns in the Tococa River.  I’d love the stream to turn into a majority brown trout fishery.  Hopefully this year we’ll see the DNR stock more browns and less rainbows.

  1. There is something special about catching brown trout for sure. Great report and pics as always.
