GA Bass Fishing

tori_welch_burton_octoberAll the fronts that have blown through lately have slowed  up the topwater fishing.  However, when we start to get some consistent cold weather the topwater fishing is going to really turn on.  RJF guide, Eric Welch is predicting the 2nd and 3rd week of November to be a great time to hit any of our Georgia lakes with your topwater baits.  The cold weather will also get the bass in a feeding frenzy anticipating winter arriving.

We still are catching good numbers of bass though.  We’re just having to go down for them.  Bait fish have dropped into deeper water and so has the bass to forage on them.  All in all so far, we’ve had some spectacular bass fishing this fall.  Eric Welch has pretty much been hitting all of our lakes we guide on, in some cases two a day to stay on top of the fish, and their is no doubt he has been on top of them.  November is going to bring us big bass and lots of numbers, so give us a call to book your next Georgia bass fishing trip.

  1. Gotta love the Nuclear cooling towers in the background… Reminds me of Springfield on the Simpson’s. I am sure that the water outlet from the plant is the honey hole in the winter ;) .

Bring on the cold so we can see some of this taled action!
